I am primarily and foremost addicted to nature photography.
But from time to time, I get images in my head, that I believe the world is in need of (who said “megalomania” 🙂 )
One of those is the picture “Crucified”.
The background is the refugee situation – in my view we are crucifying africans at the Mediterranean See every day.
There were quite som preparing to do. First of all to find the right model, brave enough – Thelma loved the idea, and joined the project.
Next – to build a cross. Find some old timberwood, and make the base in steel, so it could stand by itself, safe for Thelma…
It seemed OK. Next challenge was to get Thelma up at 6 o’clock in the morning – but even that succeeded 🙂
She is not only beautiful, but soooo funny and clever at the same time, truly a pleasure to work with her.
And when the end result is exactly as the picture that one and a’ half year ago emerged in my mind – there is no end to the deep feeling of satisfaction.
And the feeling when seeing it in print – priceless ..
Feel free to like, and comment 🙂
